2021 has been another difficult year for everyone, and although in-person events have been limited the EWL have managed to make some fantastic strides and we can’t wait for 2022.

So what’s happening next year?

New Committee

We are very much looking forward to welcoming some new committee members in 2022 to help drive strategy forward; watch this space for announcements in the new year!

Young Leader of the Year

As with every other year, we are looking forward to partnering with the PFM Awards to run the industry renowned Young Leader of the Year Award. More will be announced shortly around timeframes and dates. In the mean-time, check out the YLOTY page on this website to find out more. Will you be nominating yourself or someone else?

#ChatFM

At the height of COVID-19, without any in-person events and industry topics were focused to only one, we ran a short podcast series to bring some normality, fun and laughs for listeners. Back, after popular demand, we will be looking to get things going again in 2022.

Coffee Connections

On-line networking became the rage through 2020 and 2021; so we ran a more intimate initiative what we called ‘Coffee Connections’. The aim is to bring together a small group, sharing ideas and discussing important topics where everyone has the chance to get their voice heard. In 2021 we held events covering topics from mental health and wellbeing to international women’s day and career pivots.

We will be announcing more events through 2022, so if you would like to join us, get in touch!

Blogging

As you know, we are a platform to accelerate change in the workplace…and what better way than to hear fresh, innovative ideas from all corners of the industry.

We will continue with our regular blogs across the year, including guest blogs – so if you have a particular topic or any ideas you would like to share and discuss, just let us know!

In-Person Events

We will of course continue to be hopeful of a healthy and happy new year for everyone work wide; and we love nothing more than getting like-minded people together in one room! So, restrictions dependent we will look to announce some in-person events in 2022. I’m sure you will be looking forward to this as much as we are!
